Annual Spring Fund-raising Picnic

We will hold our annual spring fundraising picnic Saturday, April 7, 2018. 

10:00 Event registration and tour information 

10:30 - Morning walking and cart tours start

11:30- 1:30 Lunch is served in the Interpretaive Center 

11:30 - 2:00 Music by the Back Porch Band at the pavilion. 

1:00 - Door prize & Raffle drawing

2:00 - Afternoon walking and cart tours start

Throughout the day the log house museum will be open for you to view a rare display of Caroline Dormon's art.  

Be sure to take your children to the Children's art area where local art students will help them to complete an art project of their choice.


Attendance is $50.00 per adult, $10.00 for children 13 - 18 with children 12 and under attending for free.

Tom Sawyer Day

These are always lots of fun.  We get together at the Education Building at 9:00 for coffee and pastries to fuel us for the morning then head out around 9:30 to do some work and lots of vising.  Be sure to bring your work gloves.

Annual Plant Sale

We will be holding our annual plant sale Saturday, November 3rd from 9:00 a.m. till noon, come early for the best selection!  Gates to the preserve will be open at 7:00 a.m. we will have coffee and sweets available in our education building along with Briarwood merchandise which makes excellent Christmas presents for the plant lover in your life.  Our current plant list is available on our Facebook page so follow the link from this website to that page to get the latest information on the plants that we will have available!
